49ers vs. Packers inactives: Emmanuel Moseley will make his season debut

The Seahawks lost. Again.

The 49ers are a little over an hour away from their season opener and are sporting their ‘94 red throwbacks. These jerseys are a beaut. As for the inactives tonight:

CB Dre Kirkpatrick

CB Ambry Thomas

RB Elijah Mitchell

G Aaron Banks

That means the running backs will consist of Trey Sermon, Kerryon Johnson, Trenton Cannon, Jacques Patrick. Two weeks ago, you couldn’t have paid me enough to be convinced that these would be the running backs in Week 3.

Elijah Mitchell will miss time with a shoulder injury while Banks and Thomas are healthy scratches.

After being listed as questionable all week, DT Javon Kinlaw, DL Arik Armstead, and CB Emmanuel Moseley are all active. Moseley will make his season debut, and he’ll be needed. We’ll see if he starts as Josh Norman and Deommodore Lenoir played well against the Eagles.

As for the Packers, cornerback Kevin King was a late add to the injury report and is out for tonight's game. That could be addition by subtraction for Green Bay. At the same time, rookie Eric Stokes will start in King’s place.

Here’s Green Bay’s inactive list:

CB Kevin King

OL Elgton Jenkins

S Vernon Scott

LB La’Darius Hamilton
