Instead, Erling Haaland will be their top target next summer and Manchester United could battle them for his signature.
The 21-year-old joined Borussia Dortmund in January 2020 and went on to make 64 appearances in all competitions, scoring 63 goals with 18 assists. Haaland has begun the new season in prolific form too, scoring six goals with three assists in five games, so he’s not slowing down.
