(AUSTIN, Texas) On Monday, Austin-Travis County Health Authority Dr. Desmar Walkes discussed the rapidly spreading delta variant, according to Fox 7 Austin.

"We are concerned about how rapidly the delta variant is spreading in our community," said Walkes. "The Delta variant is a different type of virus that's much more infectious. It's as infectious as chickenpox. And when you have the virus in your body and you're vaccinated, you can pass it on because you have a large amount of it in your system—just as much as someone who's unvaccinated at times."

"We've just passed the threshold to Stage Five," she said.

While the area has crossed to stage 5, health authorities have not made the official announcement as they are still writing up recommendations for people to follow for stage 5.

ICU beds are also becoming scarce, and most of the people being treated for COVID-19 are unvaccinated.

remember... if you manage to hide from Delta Force COVID lambda will get you! if you manage to survive epsilon will take out the rest!... or not being the survival rate of vaccinated and unvaccinated is exactly the same....
