(WINTER HAVEN, Fla.) Winter Haven police arrested a man after he reportedly assaulted two officers and tried to take a firearm from one on Saturday, according to ABC Action News.

Shortly before noon, a Winter Haven police officer arrived at a home on 4th Street SE after receiving a call regarding a disturbance.

Once at the home, the responding officer said he found 27-year-old Marc Tucker in a verbal dispute with his mother.

Tucker said his mother was kicking him out of the home and he was not complying with her demands to leave. Tucker's mother said her son was not living with her at the time and had moved out at least a year ago, per ABC Action News.

After the officer asked him to leave the residence, Tucker reportedly was angered with the officer and began cursing at him, dialed 911 and told dispatch that the officer was cursing at him. Tucker made a second call to 911, after being told not to do so. A second WHPD officer then arrived at the scene and attempted to arrest Tucker, who began to fight back, officials said.

According to WHPD, Tucker then struck one of the officers in the face and as they were heading to the ground, he hit the officer a second time in the back of the neck.

Once grounded, Tucker hit the second officer in the face and grabbed the officer's radio from the officer's duty belt. Tucker then reportedly grabbed the officer's firearm while grounded and yelled, "I'm going to kill you!"

The officer managed to pull Tucker's arm and used his Taser on the 27-year-old during the scuffle. The officers escaped unharmed and did not require medical attention, according to ABC Action News.

Tucker was transported to Winter Haven Hospital for medical treatment. He reportedly continued to yell at both officers and spat in their faces multiple times at the hospital, officials said.

Tucker made multiple threats of killing the officers at the hospital and was moved to Polk County Jail after his medical release.

He faces multiple charges including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer (F2), two counts of battery on law enforcement officer (F-3), two counts of resisting with violence (F3), one count of depriving officer means of protection/communication (F3) and misuse of 911 (M1).

Amazing how the stock picture shows a white guy in cuffs when in reality it was a black guy arrested and would get much more use out of that picture
