Truffle lovers, listen up: This year, the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium has partnered with Urbani Truffles, the leading global purveyor of fresh truffles and truffle products, is bringing its Black Truffle Festival to Miami.

Urbani Truffles has a long history in the field of truffles, mushrooms, and truffle products, and is considered one of the leading suppliers of truffles and truffle products in the United States. Operating as a family business since its inception in 1852, Urbani’s greatest pleasure is seeing their truffles, which are found and picked in fertile woodlands, being served on tables in some of the most prestigious restaurants in the world.

The Black Truffle Festival will take place Saturday, June 26 through Saturday, July 4, where participating restaurants across New York, Miami, Boston, Washington D.C., Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles will be offering exclusive dishes featuring black summer truffles and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, each paired with wines from Ca’ del Bosco, Masi, and Lamole di Lamole.

Now in its fourth year, the Black Truffle Festival highlights Italy’s most coveted culinary products, including Urbani’s black, summer, and Australian truffles; a variety of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, including 18- and 24- months maturations; and fine wines from Franciacorta, Valpolicella Classico, and Chianti Classico regions. Throughout the week, food and wine enthusiasts across the country will have the opportunity to indulge in exclusive festival menus featuring Italy’s most treasured ingredients at some of the country’s most esteemed restaurants.

Chef Michele Casadei Massari, U.S. brand ambassador for Parmigiano Reggiano, has created an official festival recipe for Black Truffle Pasta, paired with an exceptional Chianti Classico Riserva by Lamole di Lamole. The recipe combines the earthy, rich flavor of black summer truffles with the umami, nutty notes of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese for a decadent dish that allows home cooks across the country to indulge in the celebration.
