    Woman's body found in Phoenix canal

    (PHOENIX) The Phoenix Police Department is investigating after a woman's body was found in a Phoenix canal on Monday, ABC 15 reported.

    Authorities said the woman was found dead on the bank of a canal near 35th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.

    Her body didn't have any obvious signs of trauma, police said. Her death is under investigation.

    Additional information on the incident was not immediately available.
