10 Killed in Alabama 15-Car Wreck: 8 were Foster Children

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is asking the public to send photos and videos to help them gather information on the crash.

Ten people, including eight children traveling on a foster home bus, died in an accident involving multiple vehicles in Alabama yesterday.

A vehicle hydroplaned on a bridge of Interstate 65, resulting in a chain reaction that involved up to 15 vehicles.

Fire tore through a bus carrying eight children, aged 4 to 17, from Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch, a foster home. Although a bystander was able to pull the driver to safety, he was unable to return to the children.

Some of the girls were in foster care, which is run by the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

As well as the ranch residents, two guests as well as the ranch director's young children, aged 4 and 16, were also killed.

The ranch director was driving the bus, and even though she was injured, she is expected to survive.

Also killed in the crash were a 9-month-old baby and her father, 29, who was traveling in an SUV.

CEO of the Alabama Sheriff's Youth Ranches, which runs the girls ranch in Camp Hill, Alabama, Michael Smith, called the wreck a horrible tragedy.

How do you feel? What do you think?

8 children traveling to 1 foster home.....this needs to be investigated further...sounds more like human trafficking then foster home.
