    Chicago gas price survey: Cheapest station saves $0.95 per gallon

    (CHICAGO, IL) Depending on where you fill up in Chicago, you could be saving up to $0.95 per gallon on gas.

    According to a survey by GasBuddy, Costco at 2746 N Clybourn Avenue was the cheapest station in the area, with regular listed at $3.44 per gallon at the pumps Wednesday. That was compared to Marathon at 335 N Ogden Ave, where a gallon of regular was selling for $4.39.

    Prices for all grades of gas change from day to day, meaning which station is cheapest can change, too. As of 05:58 PM, Tuesday, the average price was $3.77 per gallon for regular.
