    AKRON, OH — The Akron Civic Theatre will present "AMERICA", which will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 7:30 PM as the year 2021 marks the 51st Anniversary of perennial classic-rock favorite, America.

    Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell, together with former band mate Dan Peek, as founding members, met in high school in London in the late 1960s and quickly reached their way to the top of the charts on the strength of their signature song "A Horse With No Name." America opened their way with a great string of hits after the success of its first #1 single. Then, forty plus years later, they are still making music together, touring the world and thrilling audiences with their timeless sound.

    As the tickets are now on sale, interested parties can get them by visiting www.akroncivic.com or TicketMaster.com. The tickets cost $82, $65, $55 and $38. VIP packages are also available for those who want them.

    Front row package will include one front row ticket, "HITs” 40th anniversary edition CD, Holiday Harmony CD, specially designed America tour shirt, America tote bag, set of America guitar picks, America keychain bottle opener, Exclusive America VIP merchandise item, commemorative VIP laminate and commemorative ticket with limited availability.

    Meanwhile, VIP Tour Package will include one premium reserved ticket located in rows 2-10, "HITs” 40th Anniversary Edition CD, Holiday Harmony CD, specially designed America tour shirt, America tote bag, set of America guitar picks, America keychain bottle opener, exclusive America VIP merchandise item, commemorative VIP laminate and commemorative ticket with limited availability.

    According to CDC guidelines, and for the safety of the Akron Civic Theatre's patrons, employee and volunteers. The Akron Civic Theatre encourage all non-vaccinated person to continue to wear their mask and to stay home if you are not feeling well.
