A child with stage 4 cancer's wish came true thanks to Galveston PD

Galveston Police Department made a special young lady's dreams come true.

Adriana Nixon has always wanted to ride a horse on the beach, and GPD made that happen.

Adriana was diagnosed with stage four Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) liver cancer in July 2019.

Last week, Adriana took a tour of the island along with other GPD mounted officers while riding Finn, one of the GPD horses.

Adriana enjoys softball, school, art, building legos, and has an appreciation for law enforcement officers.

She is an honorary Fort Worth Police Department Jr. police officer. Adriana, thank you for visiting Galveston.
