Sanford is known as the “Historic Waterfront Gateway City” in the central region of Florida in the U.S. It is located on the southern side of Lake Monroe. Sanford is a downtown city that attracts tourists with marina, shops, and restaurants. The lakefront walking trail also works as an embellishment to the city. As the downtown Riverwalk displays the charm of antique and collectible shops.

A lot of Florida’s historic outlook was reshaped by the opening of Walt Disney World Resort in 1971, but Sanford due to its pioneer and eminent functionality as an early trade center retained the aged touch to its city life with old commercial and residential architecture. Sanford has also been the home to many notable sportsmen, including many professional baseball and football players.

Some of the movies filmed in this city are mentioned below:

    Never Back Down (2008):

The movie builds around Jake Tyler’s relationship with his mentor who is a mixed martial arts veteran. The teen develops to train his body and mind for an ultimate fight. The young campers wander into the woods to find a place they have heard about in urban legend called “Cappy’s Cabin”. They end up lost in the woods and trapped in a terrifying game which makes this movie a thriller.
