An Austin-born WWE star apologized and took down her post in which she was wearing a T-shirt about mixed race children after she was heavily criticized on social media.

    What are the details?

Jessi Kamea, who is half Japanese and half Hawaiian, said she had no idea people would react so strongly or that the T-shirt itself would be considered insulting.

“Hi everyone! I just wanted to apologize about the t-shirt post I recently took down,” she posted on social media to try and stop the backlash.
“I didn't realize it would offend so many people and affect so many in such a negative way. My intention with the post was to support a friend and also support the message of Ending Racism,” the star explained, according to The Blaze.

“I'm a mixed baby, and I'm very proud of all my heritages, so the shirt looked cool to me. I'm shocked and enlightened by all of your responses, thank you. I hope ya'll have a nice day,” Kamea added.

Even though the star deleted the offensive post, many screenshots were shared across social media, both by supporters and detractors.

In the deleted photo Kamea was wearing a shirt with a black bear and a white bear. They had a half white bear cub between them. The shirt declared, “End racism. Make mixed babies.”

    What were the reactions?

“Her post was in support of ethnic cleansing. I'd say it's worth an apology,” a critic wrote on social media.
“You don't see a problem with it because you are just as ignorant for praising this type of rhetoric of interracial relationships,” was another incensed reply about the shirt worn by the Austin star.

People need to lighten upon things involving race. If the mixed race people don’t have a problem with it then the rest of everyone else needs to shut up and get a life.
