Los Feliz isn't always considered one of the go-to neighborhoods for celebrities, but that doesn't mean that they don't live there. They certainly do reside in this centrally located area of Los Angeles because it boasts a hip, eclectic and funky vibe when it comes to its shops and restaurants. For fans of the Disney empire, they know this was the birthplace of Mickey Mouse because Walt Disney, and his brother Roy, made all of their dreams come true in this sector of LA. If that isn't enough Los Feliz love, the entrance to California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort features Buena Vista Street and is reminiscent of the neighborhood in the 1920s and 1930s.

It's a highly desirable area to live in because it gives residents easy access to Downtown LA, the Valleys and Hollywood. It also abuts the magnificent Griffith Park with highlights including, the Los Angeles Zoo, the Autry Museum of the American West, the Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Sign. The park has been the scene of countless TV and film shoots, but it most recently got a huge boost from the Oscar-nominated film, La La Land.

While modern farmhouse architecture is dominating areas of Los Angeles like Encino, Los Feliz leans into the Spanish architecture that California is known for. Notable architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra and Paul Williams also built extraordinary hillside homes that still exist to this day.

Find out who in Hollywood is currently calling Los Feliz home.

    Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio just bought a new home from Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita, for $7.1 million. The 5,000-square-foot home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, but the showstopper in this home is all about the Spanish architectural details — from the tiling to the intricate woodwork. In the backyard, the pool, an addition during Gwen Stefani and then-husband Gavin Rossdale's tenure as owners of the property, is a conversation piece with its waterfall design.

    Kristen Stewart

In February, Twilight trilogy star Kristen Stewart invested $6 million in an elegant Mediterranean Revival home on one of the most coveted streets in Los Feliz. The property, built in the 1920s, also has a celebrity pedigree, having been owned by former ER star Anthony Edwards from 1998 until 2004. The interior has cozy features like exposed wood beams, archways and tons of natural light in the main 4,900-square-foot home. There is also a detached studio that could be used for a gym or a home office and it shares the beautiful, lush gardens on the grounds with the main house.

    Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard

Another Kristen lives in Los Feliz, but she's more known as a Disney Princess instead of a vampire. Frozen star Kristen Bell, and husband Dax Shepard, purchased an English Revival home in 2017 for $4.3 million in the swanky gated enclave of Laughlin Park. Four years later, the couple is still renovating the home while living in a nearby property that Shepard purchased in 2005. Once completed, the estate will have a 4,050-square-foot main house and a guest house, where the podcast host tapes his successful Armchair Expert show with co-star Monica Padman.

    Angelina Jolie

When Angelina Jolie buys property, she goes big. In 2017, she had the highest home sale in Los Angeles after she bought the historical Cecil B. DeMille property for $24.5 million. Set on two acres in Laughlin Park (yes, she's neighbors with Kristen and Dax), the 11,000-square-foot home has plenty of room for the six children she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt, sons Maddox, 19, and Pax, 17, and daughters Zahara, 16, and Shiloh, 15, plus twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.
