    Canal Park reschedules "Swing For Your Swag" 2021 to August 26

    AKRON — Due to extreme weather, the Akron RubberDucks’ “Swing For Your Swag” Night has been officially rescheduled from May 28 to Thursday, August 26, 2021. The ticket slots are still available to purchase for everyone who wants to take batting practice and chances to win great prizes.

    Presented by SeibertKeck Insurance Partners, “Swing For Your Swag” is an event where fans will have the chance to show off their skills by hitting a baseball into specific tiered zones in the field within 90 seconds. The event will be at Canal Park, starting at 6 p.m, and ends with live baseball entertainment.

    Fans will get the chance to win an autographed memorabilia from their favorite RubberDucks players,and the grand prize of an Akron RubberDucks season ticket package will be given for those who can hit a home run over the fence in the outfield.

    “We were so thrilled with the turnout and feedback we received from our ‘Swing For Your Swag’ events last summer that we knew we wanted to bring it back for 2021,” said RubberDucks General Manager Jim Pfander. “Rescheduling this event will ensure that all fans have an opportunity to take part in this unique event and make even more incredible memories here at Canal Park.”

    A ticket costs $20 ($15 for spectators). There is also an additional 90-seconds batting practice for $10.

    The tickets will include a meal and a swing voucher from a RubberDucks staff member at the designated check-in table at the main gates. No outside food or beverage is permitted, but concessions will be available for purchase on-site.
