According to police, the case will be submitted to the District Attorney for filing consideration next week.

Since the crime was motivated by hatred, the department demanded that his bail be increased.

According to court records, he has no criminal background in Riverside County.

The man is thought to be one of the main suspects in the attack and beating of several Jewish diners by a pro-Palestinian group on Tuesday night, just hours after a massive rally in favor of Palestinian rights in Gaza.

The victims were approached outside Sushi Fumi in the 300 block of North La Cienega Boulevard shortly before 10 p.m.

One minor injury was confirmed, according to police. The incident, according to Mayor Eric Garcetti, was “an act of terrorism.” “a well-coordinated anti-Semitic assault

“All Angelenos, including Jews, should feel secure in our city at all times… Los Angeles is a place of belonging rather than hatred. Antisemitism, bigotry, and racism of any sort have no place in Los Angeles. In our cultures, we will never tolerate racism or violence,” he said in a tweet.

According to Councilman Paul Koretz, the restaurant attack was one of two aimed at Jewish victims in the span of 24 hours.

“In a violent assault while seated outside a sushi restaurant, members of a convoy of pro-Palestinian demonstrators attacked innocent Jewish diners, and two cars attempted to run over a Jewish man who had to flee for his life. Both of these events were recorded on film. ‘These were unconscionable antisemitic hate crimes,” Koretz said in a statement released late Wednesday morning.

“These acts of violence would not be tolerated. We will do everything possible to prosecute these offenders and restore order to our city’s streets. I went to the restaurant where the attack happened late last night after being briefed by LAPD at the Wilshire Division and met with a young man who witnessed the whole tragedy unfold,” he said. “I promised him that we would work hard to send more money to the area and bring justice to the badly beaten victims. I hope to hold my word to that young man as well as the rest of our group.

A group of men jumped out of a car and began attacking the diners while shouting racial slurs, according to cell phone footage.

The attackers were identified only as black-clad men. According to the police, the restaurant was not harmed.

The Council on American Islamic Relations’ local office released the following statement on Wednesday: “We support everyone’s right to free expression, gather, and rally in support of their respective political beliefs as a civil rights and advocacy group. Despite rising tensions between Israel and Palestine, it is never acceptable for the conflict to spill over into our streets and towns. Violence and coercion should be condemned, investigated, and punished where necessary.”

The Anti-Defamation League has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators of the attack on the diners.

Anyone with details about the restaurant attack can contact the LAPD’s Wilshire station at 213–922–8230 or Crime Stoppers at 800–222–8477.
