Darriynn Brown, the 18-year-old suspect in the tragic murder of 4-year-old Cash Gernon from Dallas, reportedly came to the house a second time looking for his twin brother, right after the murder.

A surveillance video captured the terrifying moments of the tragedy. The suspect is seen entering the boys’ room and kidnapping 4-year-old Cash Gernon.

Brown has been arrested after the child’s body was discovered early on Saturday morning on a residential street.

    What are the video details?

According to a report from the Daily Mail, the footage shows the moment when Cash Gernon was grabbed by the suspect from his bed.

“In night vision footage, Brown creeps in dressed in a hoodie, backpack, sweatpants, and sneakers, and hovers menacingly over the two boys. He appears to hesitate for a few seconds, staring at the brothers and looking around the room, before finally reaching toward the bed and carefully pulling back the boys' blanket,” the news outlet reported.

The suspect can be seen grabbing the boy who seems to wake up immediately and running with him in his arms.

Only a few hours later Brown reportedly returned to the boys’ bedroom for the twin brother, Carter.

In the video the suspect is seen “hovering menacingly over Carter Gernon as he slept in the cot he shared with his brother Cash,”, according to the outlet.

    What saved the twin?

The twin was miraculously saved from being kidnapped by a sudden sound in the house. The suspect “appears to get spooked by a sound in the house and flees, leaving Carter asleep.”
“Brown, 18, reaches down and touches the boy as he stirs in his toddler bed, before wandering around the room, seemingly disturbed by a sound, and fleeing the room, leaving the boy sleeping peacefully,” the Daily Mail notes about the terrible Dallas incident.
