Chipotle Mexican Grill will increase its hourly wage next month in an effort to bring in more employees.

According to CNBC, the move will boost the company's hourly wage average to $15 by the end of June, as the chain looks to employ 20,000 workers. Starting wages for hourly workers will now range from $11 to $18 per hour.

The company will also offer a $200 employee referral bonus to crew members and a $750 referral bonus to general managers.

Additionally, employees will also be able to move up the ranks to the highest management position at its restaurants — and in three and a half years earn an average compensation of $100,000.

"We are sharing with people that it’s not just a job right now, but it’s actually a job that can lead to a meaningful career," Chipotle Chief Executive Brian Niccol told CNBC.
