Utica man sentenced for role in fentanyl ring
UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — A Utica man had his day in court on Thursday, May 16 for his role in a major fentanyl ring, according to United States Attorney Carla Freedman. 31-year-old Jose Morales of Utica was sentenced in federal court to serve ten years in federal prison. He was also ordered to serve a term of supervised release of five years, as well as payment of over $37,000 in judgments.
