Report Of Gunshots At Huntington Apartments Under Investigation
WALDORF. Md. – On May 16 at 3 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of Gallery Place in Waldorf for the report of the sound of multiple gunshots. When officers arrived, they canvassed the area but did not locate any victims; however, they did locate shell casings between two apartment buildings. Further, officers found a vehicle had been struck and a house on Alehouse Court was damaged.

Man Arrested In Connection With Armed Robbery At Home Improvement Store
WALDORF, Md. – Detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division have identified and arrested a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery case. On February 22, a male and a female entered a home improvement store on Jefferson Place in Waldorf. They picked up several items and approached a cashier. The female paid for her items; however, the male concealed merchandise and left the store without paying. He was approached by a loss prevention officer at which time the male displayed a handgun. The suspect fled in a car with the female.

44-year-old Palmyra sentenced to serve 45 months in prison for his role in the Jan. 6 riot
A 44-year-old Palmyra man will serve more than three years and seven months in federal prison for his actions during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. Leo Brent Bozell IV, 44, was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge John D. Bates to 45 months in prison, three months of supervised release, and ordered to pay $4,729 in restitution. Bates found Bozell guilty of 10 charges, including four felonies, on Sept. 8, 2023.
