    ABC News weatherman Rob Marciano 'fired for anger management issues'

    ABC News weatherman Rob Marciano has reportedly been fired from the network for his "anger management issues" one year after his shock divorce announcement.

    Marciano, who is famously known for his decade-long appearances on Good Morning America and World News Tonight was reportedly axed from the network this week after being temporarily banned from the GMA Time Square Studios. The 55-year-old meteorologist was reportedly sidelined from the show after "a number of alarming events."

    In March of 2023, Marciano was "temporarily banned" from the New York City based studio after making one of his colleagues feel uncomfortable, according to the New York Post . One insider revealed to Page SIx: “He was found to have done something … that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return."

    The exact circumstances surrounding his departure were unclear, but one source claimed that the TV personality he had been dealing with some “anger management issues” while he navigating his divorce from his ex-wife Eryn. The former couple were married for 11 years and welcomed two children together before shocking fans with the news of their split in 2021.

    According to the source, Marciano "wants his old job back and to be allowed back in” to the studio but was restricted from entering the studio by executive producer Simone Swink. It was claimed that Swink was being “extra cautious” and “protective” over the incident after he previously replaced GMA's Michael Corn, who was fired from the network for alleged sexual abuse.

    Another source, speaking on Marciano's incident with his former co-star, told The New York Post: "He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period where there were some issues, a number of alarming events," and added: "There were times when [Marciano] was very cranky and angry … unsavory behavior on his part. He was pulled off to deal with it and he’s been back.”

    Marciano has shared a long, successful career in the news industry as he has been working for ABC News and Good Morning America for over 10 years and was previously the co-anchor of Entertainment Tonight. The father of two also worked as a senior meteorologist and anchor for CNN providing extensive weather coverage for the news network.
