Skowhegan softball looking for redemption in A North amidst hot start
SKOWHEGAN - After making the Class A North final last year, Skowhegan softball is picking up right where they left off. The Riverhawks are 9-1 to start 2024 with a truly complete squad. Eight of their wins have come via the 10-run rule and they have shutout six of their opponents. The team says that those hot bats are the biggest key to their success, as well as the team chemistry that comes with having nine seniors.
Softball Game Preview: Forest Hills Heads Out
The Forest Hills Tigers are on the road again on Tuesday to play the Carrabec Cobras at 2:00 p.m. Forest Hills' hitters might be in the hot seat on Tuesday considering what happened against Buckfield on Saturday. They lost 18-0 to the Bucks. Forest Hills has struggled against Buckfield recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
