NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a chase and crash that left four injured in Algiers.

NOPD leaders said officers conducted a traffic stop around 4 p.m. on a red two-door Audi car at the intersection of General Meyer Avenue and Kabel Drive.

According to officers, the car matched the description of a car sought in the investigation of a March 18 homicide in the 3000 block of General Meyer Avenue.
