The Portageville High School baseball squad enters postseason play today, and there are a lot of high expectations for the Bulldogs over the next few weeks. Portageville has advanced to the MSHSAA State Finals in each of the past two seasons, once in Class 2 (a runner-up finish in 2022) and once in Class 3 (a third-place finish in 2023).

SENATH, Mo. — Portageville unleashed its offensive firepower in a 15-0 mercy-rule victory over Campbell in the MSHSAA Class 2, District 1 Semifinals on Friday, May 10. "I'm proud of the kids,” said Portageville coach Tyler Trover. “We took care of business. Softball Game Recap: Community Christian Comes Up Short
Community Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hickman County Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Community Christian of the 11-10 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.
