Monument Health responds to improved quality and safety ratings
RAPID CITY, S.D. – Monument Health is speaking up after receiving improved scores from two hospital quality and safety rating organizations. A “C” grade from the Leapfrog group is now a “B” and a one-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services – or CMS – is expected to rise to three stars for the Rapid City hospital and the maximum rating of five stars is expected for the Spearfish Hospital.
