Fort Wayne recognized by two national non-profits with Technical Assistance Grant
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Two national non-profits have selected Fort Wayne to receive the Implementation Technical Assistance and Grant award. The award is given out by The American Immigration Council and Welcoming America through the Gateways for Growth Challenge (G4G) for Round Four in the competitive opportunity for localities to receive research support and assistance.
New Haven Track Competes at Heritage Relays
For the 3rd year in a row, the Bulldogs are team champions of the Heritage Relays. Once again it was a complete team effort with the team placing in all but one event. This meet combines the field events into a 2-person relay by adding up the performances of both field event athletes and placing them as a team. Kevion Mitchell was the 110 Meter Hurdle Champion, while Aaron Hoffer finished right behind him for 2nd place in the event. Relay champions were the 4×100 Meter Relay team of Kevion Mitchell, Latrevion Bates, Aaron Hoffer, and Alex Hoffer; the 4×200 Meter Relay of Latrevion Bates, Aaron Hoffer, Alex Hoffer, and Sedrick Boone; and the Distance Medley team of Orion McGlaughn, Aaron Jackson, Aidan Ackels, and Bryan Garcia. In the Field Event Relays, the team of Will Graves and Luke Beckman won the Pole Vault.
