Powers Hamburgers officially reopens for business
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Powers Hamburgers officially reopened for business Tuesday morning after announcing its new hours of operation last week. The burger spot reopened its doors under new ownership at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23. Leaders announced on the restaurant’s Facebook page that it will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays.

Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation offer free tree seedlings to celebrate Arbor Day
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - This year, Fort Wayne residents can celebrate Arbor Day by planting tree seedlings provided by Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation. The Parks and Recreation Department announced Monday morning it has partnered with Trees Indiana to give out over 200 seedlings (one per household) to the public. Seedlings offered include White Oak, Butternut and Black Walnut tree seedlings, according to the announcement.
