    Fishing with Fathers and Friends event to take place in Natchez on June 15th; open to public

    NATCHEZ, Miss. (KTVE/KARD) — On Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 8 a.m. to noon, Natchez Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Alderman Ben Davis, will host the “Fishing with Fathers and Friends” event at Bob M. Dearing Natchez State Park, located at 230B Wickcliff Road.

    The event is free and open to the public. If your child has no fishing buddy, don’t worry; they will be provided with one at the event. Fishing poles and bait will also be available to ensure everyone can participate.

    Lunch will also be provided, and if transportation is needed, free transportation will be provided by the Natchez Transit, with a meetup at the National Guard Armory in Liberty Park with the bus leaving at 7:30 a.m.
