Fairfield’s 4X800 Relay Team named performers of the week
Fairfield’s 4x800 Relay Team is this week’s ANEC Girls’ Track Performers of the Week. 1,600 votes were submitted via Google Forms and 818 of them went to this relay team after finishing in 1st Place at Goshen Relays with a time of 11:00.54. Fairfield placed 3rd in the B Division with 96 points. Team consists of Natalee Lambright, Elli Yoder, Katie Kuhn, Lyla Dennis.

Warsaw got back into the win column Wednesday night, defeating Northridge 3-1 on the road. The Tigers are now 7-5 this season, 4-1 in the Northern Lakes Conference. Kellan Bailey went 1-3 in the game, driving in a run and scoring another. Cohen Heady also crossed the plate for Warsaw, going 2-3 on the day. Brandt Martin gave up one run on four hits in six innings on the mound, striking out four.
32nd Annual Beaman Home Golf Scramble On June 3rd
The 32nd Annual Beaman Home Golf Scramble will be held on Monday, June 3rd, at Stonehenge Golf Club located at 2850 E. Pierceton Rd., Winona Lake. Team registrations are now being accepted. The entry fees are $400 per 4-person team. The tournament format is an 18-hole scramble, and the entry fee includes green fees, cart rental, lunch, prizes, and favors. Lunch will be served from 11:30 to 12:30. The tournament will have a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. The awards ceremony will take place immediately following the tournament's completion.
Warsaw Stays Perfect In NLC With Sweep Of Wawasee
The Warsaw girls tennis team has been fantastic to start the season this spring, dropping just one match in its first five while keeping a perfect record in the Northern Lakes Conference. The dominance continued on Thursday evening as the Lady Tigers hosted Wawasee for another NLC match. The home side continued to take care of business, winning 5-0 without dropping a set.
