HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — Governor Josh Shapiro put pen to paper during a ceremonial signing for a bill to help local pharmacies. The new law, known as House Bill 1993, limits the profits that Pharmacy Benefit Managers, or PBM’s for short, can receive being the middleman between local stores and drug manufacturers. Some of the limited activities include patient steering, prescriptions by mail and money recoupment from pharmacies.

Cocaine, heroin seized during Derry Township traffic stop
A Derry Township man is behind bars after an early-morning traffic stop Thursday, July 25, resulted in the discovery of several illegal substances. According to an affidavit of probable cause filed in the case, members of the Pennsylvania State Police at Greensburg were on patrol at approximately 3 a.m. when troopers conducted a traffic stop on a black 2020 Dodge Ram pickup truck after the driver failed to keep the vehicle within the painted lines on Keystone Park Road in Derry Township.

Men's And Women's Tennis Announce Fall 2024 Schedule
LORETTO, Pa. - The Saint Francis men's and women's tennis teams announced their schedules for the fall on Friday. The two teams will play in a total of eight tournaments from Aug. 30 to Oct. 20.
