House burns in Bryans Road
A fire that occurred on May 12 at a house on Pomfret Road in Bryans Road is under investigation. Reported at 7:32 p.m. by a passerby, the blaze took 10 minutes to control, according to a release from the state fire marshal’s office. Damages to the structure totaled around $200,000 and $50,000 worth of contents were lost. There were no injuries reported from the fire, which started in a bedroom of the home. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact the fire marshal’s Southern Regional Office at 443-550-6832.
