Myrtle Beach area athletic directors are hoping a unique tradition will lead to increased celebration of high school athletes across South Carolina. On Wednesday night, athletic directors in Region VI-4A held a winter sports awards dinner at T-Bonz In Myrtle Beach. The event — an idea of athletic directors in the region (including John Cahill of Myrtle Beach and Anthony Heilbronn of North Myrtle Beach) — is designed to be a unique celebration of award winners within the region during each season.
