Lebanon junior Kailah Correa was selected to the Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State Girls Basketball Team, receiving first-team honors in Class 6A. Correa, a 5-foot-4 junior, averaged 19.0 points per game this season, in which the Cedars won Lancaster-Lebanon League Section One, appeared in the L-L championship game, placed third in District 3 and lost in the first round of the state tournament.

Hershey’s softball team exploded for 16 runs in the fourth inning to cement a 21-0 rout of Central Dauphin East on Friday. McKinley Ebert was the fuse of that TNT, having driven in five runs on three hits. Talie Kaag scored four runs while batting 3-for-4 with an RBI. Madison Shultz recorded two hits to go with three runs scored and three runs driven in. Sarah Young (2-for-4), Grace O’Connor (2-for-4), Jadyn Armogida (3-for-4) and Chloe Maitrejean all drove in two runs each and Emma Galvez plated three runs as well.

Carlisle softball unleashed 12 hits en route to a 13-3 win over Palmyra in five innings on Friday. Emma Hall went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored while Alexis Kline went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs. Kline earned the win in the circle with three strikeouts to two hits allowed. Allison Coldren plated three runs while going 2-for-2 at the dish as well.
