MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Thursday marks 15 years since Britanee Drexel disappeared in Myrtle Beach, sparking a 13-year search for her remains and seeking justice for her murder. The then 17-year-old was last seen on April 25, 2009, on security footage leaving the Bar Harbor on Ocean Boulevard.
12 arrested in Myrtle Beach, Horry County police operation
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Over 10 people found themselves in custody last week as a result of a police operation in Horry County. The Horry County Police Department and Myrtle Beach Police Department announced 12 arrests Monday which “yielded the recovery of several thousand dollars in stolen merchandise.” Two fugitives, including one from Texas, were among those arrested.

Developers move forward with commercial project in Conway
A commercial project that can handle as many as five new businesses is moving through the city of Conway’s planning process, according to the developers. Though the 5,750-square-foot building, planned for 2206 Church St., is designed for as many as five new businesses, developer Van Davenport said if any business wants more than one space, or even the whole building, that can be worked out.
