Two arrested after police find drugs, guns, explosives in O'Brien home
O'BRIEN, Ore. -- Two people were arrested on May 16 after police found drugs, guns, explosives and "hazardous chemicals" in a house in O'Brien. According to a news release from the Grants Pass Police Department, the people -- 57-year-old Kurtis Kerns Korff and 49-year-old Grace Helen Polk -- are facing charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and 34 counts of felon in possession of a firearm.

JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. – The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a person who may have gone missing while hiking along the Rogue River Trail. According to the sheriff’s office, on Friday deputies received a citizen report of a backpack and dog leash found on the trail with no sign of a person or dog in the area.
