Search ends for wanted man in Howell County, Mo.
WEST PLAINS, Mo. (KY3) - A man wanted in connection to a domestic abuse call in Willow Springs has been found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The West Plains Police Department received an anonymous tip Tuesday night that Shawn Clark, 34, was at a house. Police say Clark barricaded himself inside the house and refused orders to come out. Police were able to help a man and woman get out of the house safely.

A Texas County judge issued a gag order in the case of two women from Kansas who were found dead in April. Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley went missing in March while on the way to a custody exchange involving Butler’s two children, and following a two-week search for the women, the pair were found dead in Texas County.
