Police Charge Moundville Man with Robbing Gas Station at Gunpoint
Police have charged a Moundville man with robbing an area gas station at gunpoint this weekend, according to court documents obtained by the Tuscaloosa Thread. In a deposition filed Wednesday, police said a cashier was robbed at gunpoint inside the Big Sandy Food Mart on Highway 69 in Tuscaloosa County between Moundville and Hull late Saturday night by two masked suspects who held a gun to her head.

(WTOK) - The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports two fatal crashes happened in west Alabama Nov. 23. A two-vehicle wreck around 8:15 p.m., on Hwy. 11 two miles east of Boligee, claimed the life of Debbie A. Taylor, 55, of Eutaw, Ala. ALEA said Taylor’s Camry was struck by a RAV4 driven by Trenton J. Hughes, 26, of Livingston, Ala.
Alabama Woman Pleads Guilty in Charles City Assault
An Alabama woman has agreed to plead guilty to a reduced charge for her role in a Charles City assault over six months ago. According to court documents, 39-year-old Sametra Perkins of Greensboro, Alabama, is accused of assisting her boyfriend, 34-year-old Laron Martin of Selma, Alabama, in attacking another “clearly unconscious” male on May 6th. She allegedly stomped on the victim while Martin punched the man, causing several facial fractures and a concussion. Charles City Police say the assault was caught on video.

Jalen Milroe gave Crimson Tide fans another iconic memory to its folklore with “4th and 31” in his game-winning scoring toss to wide receiver Isaiah Bond. Alabama was down 24-20 in the fourth quarter when Milroe connected with Bond. The play stunned Auburn fans at Jordan-Hare Stadium, as the Tide earned a 27-24 victory. Milroe sealed the victory for Alabama with 32 seconds remaining in regulation.
