Back when cat cafés were becoming really popular and popping up everywhere, I was totally into it. As a self proclaimed cat lady, nothing sounded better to me than sitting in a coffee shop where I was surrounded by cats and sipping an iced latte. And knowing that the cafés in my area were using their businesses to help shelter cats find their forever homes was such an amazing bonus, making me happy to spend my time and my money there. With two cats at home already, I couldn't have adopted another (as much as I wanted to), but I was thrilled to donate and spend time hanging out with these kitties and giving them love and attention until they found their humans.
But even when it's not practical to have live cats on site, it's still possible for businesses to support the very important mission of rescuing as many animals as possible, and that's why I'm so glad to see this cool brewery getting so much attention on TikTok!
The cat-themed brewery @bkbrewery — or the B----in' Kitten Brewery, located in Morrisville, Pennsylvania — reintroduced themselves in this TikTok video posted on Thursday, April 18.
The brewery itself is cute, and perfect for cat lovers out there. Everything is cat-themed, including the signs for the restroom, and their beers feature artwork of black cats, so even the cans you drink out of (and the taps the beers are poured from) are cute!
And as a big bonus, part of their proceeds go to help shelter cats find their forever homes. If you're in the area and you want to check out a brewery, why not spend your money at once that's also making a difference to animals who really need it?
Not to mention that the vibes at this place are truly immaculate.
How to Visit the BK Brewery
If you're going to be in Pennsylvania and want to stop by for drinks, check out the brewery's (adorably designed) website first. They're closed Monday and Tuesday, and the hours for the rest of the week vary a bit, so you'll want to make sure you're planning your visit for a time they're open.
The taproom here has a lot of offerings beyond beer. The menu also includes small plates, cocktails, and wine, and if you want to take some beer with you, four packs are available for purchase.
And knowing that it's owned by people who love cats as much as I do? I wish this place was local to me so I could make it my weekend hangout.
Grabbing a local beer and supporting an awesome cause that will help more kitties find their forever home at the same time? We need more breweries like this around the country!
