Interstate 70 accident injures Alton resident
An Alton woman suffered moderate injuries in a chain-reaction crash Friday afternoon in St. Louis County. The Missouri Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Marqueta Goins was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 near Route 141, when her car was hit by a vehicle that was traveling too fast for conditions. That car reportedly failed to slow for traffic congestion and caused damage to at least four other vehicles.
