Annapolis, Maryland - Authorities are delving into the "suspicious death" of a potential kidnapping victim, whose body was reportedly discovered in a wooded locale last week. According to the Baltimore Police Department, the incident unfolded on March 28, just before 1 a.m., when officers were summoned to a residence following reports of a home invasion. Upon arrival, a woman recounted to the police that two unidentified men forcibly entered her home, demanding money. They purportedly claimed to have her son, 47-year-old David Winchester Jr., and threatened harm unless she complied with their monetary demands. The suspects absconded from the premises without the ransom.

The Augustus G. Brown Swimming Pool in Juneau will be closed until April 28, two days later than initially planned. This extension is to allow for upgrades to the women’s locker room floors and the drainage system. As a result, the spring swim lessons scheduled for April 27 are postponed, and an additional lesson will be provided to make up for the delay. Juneau Pools will notify participants of these changes.
