State Police arrest three people for allegedly driving drunk with children in the vehicle
State Police have arrested three people recently for allegedly driving while intoxicated with children in their vehicles. Andrew P. Smith, 36, of Troy, was stopped on Hoosick Street in Brunswick around 12:30 a.m. on July 21. He was taken to the State Police station, where he recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.27%. – over three times the legal limit. In addition, police said Smith’s license is revoked because of a previous DWI conviction.

Man admits to Schuylerville stabbing
A Saratoga man has admitted to a stabbing last November in Schuylerville. Ryan Danaher, 37, admitted to stabbing a person in the neck with a knife. The stabbing took place on Myers Lane on Nov. 17. Police said it stemmed from an argument between two people who knew each other. The victim had serious injuries.
