MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa — An Iowa police chief added a supporting document to the ACLU's new lawsuit against a new Iowa immigration law. The law goes into effect July 1 and makes it a crime to be in Iowa for people previously deported. The ACLU argues in a lawsuit it could lead to the deportation of people in the state that are legally in the country that had previously been deported.

Final Results from Class 1A Regional Final as BCLUW Earns Team Victory
(Anita, IA) – At the Crestwood Hills golf course in Anita, multiple local girls got their ticket to the state tournament. Winning overall as a team was BCLUW who shot a 378 overall in first while Newell-Fonda shot a 397. Sidney was able to finish in third while shooting a 410, Mount Ayr was able to earn fourth with a 416, and St. Albert shot a team score of 424 in fifth. Coming in sixth was Riverside with 458 and ACGC finished with 511.
