Hail piles up during Memorial Day storms in Eastern Iowa
ANAMOSA, Iowa (KCRG) - Hail fell fast and furious and left piles that looked like snow banks around parts of Jones County in and around Anamosa on Memorial Day. The storms moved through during the late afternoon on Monday. Within minutes, TV9 viewers were flooding our newsroom with pictures and videos of the hail that looked like snow by the time the storm was done.
