WATCH: Rookie Nolan Seigel crashes, flips in Fast Friday Indy 500 practice
INDIANAPOLIS — The first big accident of Fast Friday practice at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway involves a rookie. Nolan Seigel had just set a lap of 228.742 mph and was exiting the south chute into turn 2 when his No. 18 Dale Coyne Racing Honda snapped around just after the apex of the corner and slammed into the outside wall. The impact was on the left side of the car.
