Thieves steal more than $400 of merchandise at Best Buy

Selinsgrove, Pa. — Police say two suspects stole several electronics items worth $420 at the Selinsgrove Best Buy store in Monroe Township.

The two unknown suspects came to the store at Monroe Marketplace between 7:13 and 7:35 p.m. March 20. The suspects stole three items, including an Amazfit T-Rex 2 outdoor smartwatch, an Xbox wireless controller, and a Ring doorbell, according to Trp. Lee Holt at state police at Selinsgrove.

The suspects arrived and left in a bright purple Tesla SUV with black tinted windows and black rims and wheels. The owner of the Tesla later contacted police after the report was made public and identified the two suspects. Police say the driver will not be charged.
