LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Deputies are searching for a person who is cutting down trees on city property and stealing them, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday. On March 8, deputies received a report that trees had been cut down and stolen over a month ago near the golf course and ball fields in Niobrara.

Authorities in Knox County, Nebraska, are asking the public for any information about the cutting down of city trees in Niobrara.

Cattle producers gathered at Niobrara, Nebraska this week to discuss issues relating to the cattle industry. The meeting was hosted by the cattle organization R-Calf USA.
