MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — The Roosevelt Park Zoo’s Animal Ambassador Program is an excellent way to help community members get a closer look at some of the group’s most adorable exhibits. Now, the group is receiving a new member in the form of Helen, a Linnaeus’s Two-Toed Sloth.

Helen has been at Roosevelt Park Zoo for over three years, and turns four years old next week. She can be seen at any time of the year in her enclosure. According to the zoo, although it has taken quite some time, staff members have been working behind the scenes to train her to become part of the ambassador system.

Helen will be debuting as an Animal Ambassador at the Canvas, Corks, and Conversation adult event on April 18. Following this, she will also be appearing at Roosevelt Park’s “Zoo to You” sessions, as well as other educational programs.
