West Virginia State Police urges compliance after multiple violent incidents this week
SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — After Lincoln County Senior State Trooper Travis Hurley was stabbed multiple times and hospitalized by a suspect who ran from a traffic stop, State Police Superintendent Col. Jack Chambers said this just adds to a troubling trend within the past year. Even within the past week, a man was killed in Greenbrier County after troopers said he refused to drop a knife.

Three arrested following Alleghany County drug bust
ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people on drug-related charges after serving a search warrant on Tuesday, May 6. According to the sheriff, the Alleghany Highlands Drug Task Force and Virginia State Police conducted the search at a home on the 100 block of Bailey’s Road in Covington.
