Man in wheelchair hit by TRAX train in South Salt Lake
SOUTH SALT LAKE — A TRAX train collided with a man in a wheelchair at the Meadowbook Station Friday. Utah Transit Authority spokesman Carl Arky said the man hit seemed to be conscious and breathing. The scam came to light when a local resident reported receiving a call from a man claiming she had missed jury duty and had an active arrest warrant. The caller demanded that she wire transfer a substantial amount of money from a local convenience store to avoid arrest.
