(KXII) - On Tuesday morning, the Choctaw Nation hosted a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the opening of the Haven Apartments in Durant. “We started on this project, the concept of it, about 10 years ago,” Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Chief Gary Batton said. “It’s been a long, lengthy process to get to where we are today but we’re finally here, it’s come to fruition. We’re excited to be offering it to all the people here in Durant.”
