SHARE Annual Walk relocated due to weather concerns

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Annual SHARE 2024 Walk and fundraiser event has been relocated due to impending weather concerns.

The open ceremonies for this event and schedule remain the same and will start at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena, on 2514 Arena Trail in Midland, inside the Pavilion.

The SHARE walk is the largest annual fundraiser event in the Permian Basin and is a public event open to support families raising children with disabilities. All proceeds go to the Basin and its SHARE families.

Sharing Hands A Respite Experience (SHARE) is a local organization that provides programs and support services to over 200 families in the Permian Basin who are raising children with disabilities.

SHARE’s services and programs include respite nights, support groups for all family members, sibling activities, and events, which are at no cost to the families.
